Just returned from Canada, where I rented a 2003 Sprint for 6 days and saw a small part of BC. Put about 1200k on the bike and at about $1000 CDN a great way to see and smell the country if your time is limited. Weather was warm and dry. Roads were good to great and traffic was mimimal except around the lower mainland and Sea to Sky highway where "improvements' are already underway for the future Olympics at Whistler. The bike was great. Took a little getting used to the sportier position, but all in all found it easy to ride with short breaks every couple of hours. Would like to do it again with more time and see another part of the province. I think I've convinced my brother in BC to buy a Triumph. He rode his 81 Honda 500 XLS and complained more after long rides
The folks at CycleBC offer the Sprint and a selection of other bikes and they are well maintained. Did all the arrangements on their website.
