G'Day folks,
I just picked up a '06 Triumph Sprint ST the other day and after having come off a 650 thumper, I am in love with this thing!
Anyway, in an effort to make my life a little easier, I was looking at putting a Hugger on it.
I was wondering if anyone has tried the Geelong Carbon Craft Rear Hugger yet?
I am off to put more km's on it tomorrow. Just have to avoid the cricket traffic..... and in particular, the bl**dy barmy army!

Am I the only one who doesn't know what Cricket traffic is, or what a Barmy army is?

Cricket is a game played by civilised countires
The Barmy Army is the name of the supporters who follow around the English Cricket team as they tour Australia and watch them lose all their matches :-D
They are generally good spirited but hearing them chat:
"Barmy Army"
"Barmy Army"
"Barmy Army"
over and over again all day at the cricket yesterday drove me up the wall.
And I live next to the ground they are currently playing at, so the roads start to get busy very early in the morning, with them on the way to the ground already singing and chanting.

a1samurai,
welcome aboard and congrats on your new Sprint.
You have got a fine machine.
A lot of us are in love with our Sprints!
I havent tried that hugger and do not know anyone here who has.
I had the Triumph hugger for 18 months but it broke.
I now have the "Powerbronze" carbon look hugger see pics in my album. Iceman and a few others have the same one.
It is quite a decent size and has a steel supporting bar underneath which bolts to the swingarm in an existing hole.
Cheers,
DaveM

mate I have had a Geelong carbon Craft hugger on my Daytona since 98 and it worked well although i had to modify it because of the underseat exhaust on her. For my 05 Sprint a put a Powerbronze carbon lookalike on it which fits fine. If you decide on the Powerbronze then when you mount it make sure you put the flat headed screws to the bottom and the nuts to the top. In some tyre patterns the nuts rub on them, also when fitting it is best to take the back wheel off. Hope this helps and enjoy your new Sprint.

Barmy Army = POHM's that follow the pommie cricket team around hoping to see them win a game at some stage, eventually, they hope ..
POHM = Prisoner of Her Majesty
Welcome to the forum a1samurai. Then again you are riding a pommie bike (with bits from Thailand)..

As an Aussie, do you really want to go down the Prisoner route...? ;-)

a1samurai, my father's a POHM so I guess that I can poke fun at them but consider myself a convict through and through.
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie,
