Hi all!!

I´ve just read a test of the new Honda CBF 600S and came to my mind what are the Triumph Plans for this type configuration (half-fairing bike)?
Since the RS is no longer produced (what a lovely bike that was...), what is left to fight against this ever growing market. Remember, there is the top selling Yamaha FZ600/1000 Fazer, Suzuki SV650/1000, Kawasaki ZR-7S and now this Honda (that has some top of the art solutions for a commuter: ABS, screen adjustment, vertical and horizontal seat adjustment and steering bar adjustment also!). Do you think that triumph will come with an half fairing 600 ("speed four S", "Daytona S") or will produce a new RS from a new ST (I think the best choice...).

Thanks for your time

Isn´t that 600S a kind of dull bike? 70 bhp, impossible to have fun on and with a lot of grey reinforced plastic?
Low insurance is also a reason to buy one.
My toughts are that Triumph for the moment want to build individual and startling bikes. If anyone needs a commuter with criterions like cheap and low mpg I´m not sure Triumph can find any money in that.
I´m sorry to say that the RS has sold bad here up north while the Speed Triple and ST are popular. Maybe the S3 can be made a more practical bike with a small fairing. I also think something will happen to this machine next year-maybe more torque and modernized looks.

Yes you´re right! The CB is probably a dull bike and, for sure, ugly!!
But here in Portugal people go with the fashion and the fashion is... Honda no matter the bad, or the bad choice, the bike is.
One thing i'm sure is that the RS IS a great bike and very beutifull, especially that limited version with the ST single swing side arm.

So sorry to hear the RS will not be made in the future. I think it is a great all around bike. I love the ss swing arm.

I haven't test ridden the Fazer thou' - but they seem to sell like hot-cakes.

I own an RS, and it's a excellent bike indeed. Unfortunately it doesn't really sell. So there.
