Well, you might be interested to know this all MCN business started from here:

Speed Triple Brake Thread

and I thing the guys over at the Sp. triple forum did a good job. I think that's what actually started the ball rolling with T's recent hesitant steps to rectify the issue with the MC's and the piston's (in the case of the Triples).

I still had to pay to get coated pistons installed on my ST. Maybe T will in the future replace the pistons in the ST as well if we start making more fuss in the press about it.

MCN being a newspaper will have the tendency to overreact and make the story bigger than it is, but I firmly believe this has been a good thing for all current and future T owners.

Bonehead crashes his bike and blames it on everything but the real cause, HIM! Imagine that? One less idiot we have to worry about crossing into OUR lane in a corner because he's going faster than his skills can handle.

I agree, most people never get close to using the full potential of their bikes, rarely do brakes fade on a bike, even on a race track, probably some squid who fixated on an object (the guardrail) and ultimately hit it. if he would have kept turning he wouldn't have crashed, your bike is faster than you are!

years ago we had a congressman here who wanted to ban the sale of all sportbikes because he thought no one could ride them without crashing, the AMA and others prevailed, pointing out new inexperienced riders on bikes way more powerful than they needed were the problem. or was it greedy dealers who sell you a bike based on the money you have not the experience you have? hmmmm.....

anybody remember sen. john danforth from illinois???
