I'm gonna swap out my front Master Brake Cylinder because it is progressively getting worse.

There are a few of you who swapped out the front stock Master Brake Cylinder from an Asian bike.

What make, year and model Front Master Brake Cylinder fits an 02 ST?

Thanks for your help. :hammer:

Nissin 5/8 MC bolts right up.

Many Suzuki, yamaha, Kawasaki models have them.
look here:
Brake swap

OR do a google, and get a new one rather than a dodgy used unit.

you can re-use your lever and reservoir, so you can save a few bucks.

Or, you can go ballistic and get a Brembo or Magura Radial MC assembly (bling, bling)

And then, you can do this:

your total cost for MC and calipers will be around $200

chefjpd, Thank you.

This is what I was looking for.

Are the calipers off the same models as the M/C?

The calipers are from a Hayabusa. gold from the 06 model, black for the 00-05. direct bolt on.

you might want to check Skyking, they have a nice kit with the MC and seperate brake line.

Just ordered a ZX10R 5/8" Master cylinder for my 02 ST. Waiting for it to arrive so I can hook-it-up. Cost me $29.

I'll let ya'll know how it fits and if it resolves my braking issues (increasing lever travel, and now it's become notchy).

NEW? Or an E-Bay purchase, and if new from where?

Located the M/C on E-Bay.

The M/C came off a 2005 model ZX10R. Claims to have less than 5,000 miles on it...it looks flawless anyway.
