With all the posts I've seen about weekend trips... I got the bug...

I initiated a weekend trip to NW Arkansas with some local riders I do weekend rides with... mostly R1s and CBRs... Anyway, I know I've seen some folks from Dallas, Austin, and Arkansas post in here, and if any of you are interested I would LOVE to have the Triumphs outnumber the other makes... :-D

We plan to leave on a Thursday evening... they want to trailer the bikes... and ride Friday, Saturday, and half of Sunday... heading home around 3pm... the weekend is still in the air... either 9/10, 9/24, or 10/2... we will firm that up this weekend...

Anyone from around here... or anywhere else close enough to join us in Eureka Springs is welcome... in fact if someone from around here would prefer to ride their Triumphs up there I would prefer to do that... I tried to explain to these guys that a Triumph is quite comfy...

I don't know. 9/10 would be the only weekend available for me. How many bikes we talking about here?

There is a good chance that 9/10 will end up being our primary weekend, then either 9/24 or 10/2 being designated as the foul weather backup plan...

So far I believe we have 6 confirmed. There are maybe another 3 or 4 on the fence. I don't believe we will end up with more than 10... but if we end up with too big of a group there was some discussion of breaking into two smaller "buddy" groups... All of the guys I know in this group from Dallas are pretty sensible riders... I hooked up with this group because of a bad experience I had with another sport bike riders club that was a bit scary...
