Below is a link to a bit of basic suspension info from a good friend of mine, Mr. Jacques Strappe. Jacques is a qualified machinist and moto fiend. He's not a Hinckley rider, but does have a home made RZ350 chassis running a BSA 441 single motor. I guess that qualifies him as a fanatic.
I was a little underwhelmed by the new Sprint suspension, and we talked about many of the changes we have made in the past to other bikes. He referred me to his own link on suspension mods for the do it yourselfer. I have done many of these things in the past, and they do work, and don't cost a pile of money. They do require some commitment of time, though. But if you're a natural born grease monkey as many of us are, they're fun and satisfying to do.
