OK Confused!

So does anyone know if the Ventura Mounting brackets fit the (2003) ST, when the Triumph pannier brackets are also fitted?

Seems to be some confusion about whether they do or don't. Ventura tell me they don't, Rammstein tell's me they do!

Rammstein, I take it you have fitted a Ventura system with Triumph panniers? If so, do you have any photo's you could either send me or post here to show me what they look like?

I may just make some new one's of my own, to ensure they don't foul on the fairing. Rubber shock mounts may also be a good idea.

Any comments ?

Thanks.

I agree that the triumph rack must be fitted with the included reinforcements, and that they are indeed a serious PITA to install.

I used the factory tail rack with the required extra bracing! I added a Givi E52 ( their largest). Read more in my trip report posted below.

If you are taking a pillion, I would highly recommend not only the top box, but a pad for the pillion to lean back against. Having the extra support will facilitate your passenger having a much better ride.

The Givi top box is a key/turn/push affair to get the box off and it slaps on even easier, making dealing with straps and buckles seem like a pain.

I also mounted a pile of reflective stickers on my top box to increase visibility, but there is also an optional light kit you can install.

I found the Givi to be absolutely water proof.
