Before I go and mess up the removal job, I was wondering if anyone has a trick for removing the large and unsightly warning labels on the top of the gas tank?

Nunzo,

A hair dryer works real good. Just heat them up and they come off easy. Then a little WD40 to get the glue residue and your set.

Also, get the things off ASAP, before the glue hardens too much.

I tried to peel one off... the only thing that came off was the plastic,.. it left behind the print which is now all sticky.
I'll try to remove the rest when I get time... it gets dark so dam early now... I fear I may have created a mess.

I peeled my off ans stuck them in the owners handbook with the rest of them. That way when I sell the bike I'll put them back on the tank to make it box stock.

Eddiemack,

Mine did that too when I pulled them off. I just peeled up a corner of what was left and pulled the whole thing off. I found using a hair dryer made it much easier once the top hard plastic had pulled off. Got them all off then used wd-40 to clean up what was left and Honda polish to shine it all up.
