But only for a little while! Dealer has the Sprint for first service and installation of bags. Told them how difficult it is to find someone willing to drive many miles in order to ferry me home and back. They said bring it out, we'll give you something to ride! Took the loooong way home but haven't had the Daytona out of the garage since, it's only 36F here and we had 2+ inches of snow on Saturday.

Where's our normal 55F October weather???

I got the same type of excellent service when getting my 1000 mile work done a couple weeks ago. Over the phone, I was informed that they'd have a really clean Trident for me to borrow for a couple of days.

When I got there, the Trident had magically turned itself into an 06 Sprint ABS!

It's moments like that when I count my blessings with regards to having a top notch dealer. It more than makes for the fact that I have to drive almost 70 more miles roundtrip (when compared to the former dealer I worked with) to get work done.

Since we're in the same town, who's your dealer?

On Saturday I went to the Team Triumph open house in Janesville, they had a tornado red Sprint. I prefer that to my sunset red but the local dealer had a more attractive price on the '06 ABS.

I too have found a great dealer here in Two Rivers. I brought my bike in for tires and was given an 06 Speed Triple to use for the day. You know it is good to see great dealers willing to work hard for you.

I drive down to Team Triumph. All of the feedback I received before prompted me to start bringing my Speed Triple there for its work in summer '05.

When it came time for a new bike, the logical choice was to buy from them - even if it is a 90 minute roundtrip from where I live north of the airport.

I did check out the red one they had (and the silver ABS demo), but the ~0 miles on the clock of the silver non-ABS one they had (coupled with the $avings and opportunity for me to add the accessories *I* wanted) made it a bike I couldn't pass on.

I have no idea what Sharer might have even had in stock.....probably a red ABS, huh?

I haven't heard much about the Two Rivers dealer, although I've been meaning to swing by there when visiting my parents in Casco. I tried using it as a selling point for my S3 to my uncle who lives up there as well, but he didn't bite. Oh well.

I'm disappointed to here that Sharer's is not, it seems, on par with others.
