Anyone with a '06 Sprint ST can tell me what that dummy switch cover on the left side handgrip next to the hi/lo beam switch is for? There's a plastic/rubber thin rectangle piece covering what could be for some kind of rocker switch for an accessory. I thought it would be for the factory heated hand grips switch, but it's not. I know because I just got my factory heated handgrips installed and the switch for that is retrofitted on the top of the left side black plastic piece over the coolant container. (Like the right side with the locking compartment.) I figure if it's for some kind of accessory, I may want to get it and add another mod. Hehehe.

On my 01 it was used for the 4-way flashers.

Triumph may just use that piece for other bikes also, and the space isn't needed on the Sprint, hence the cover.
