staintune exhaust on 02 RS

has any one put a staintune exhaust on a 02 RS or newer ,they only have 1 part number for 2000 and onward.My question- is the pipe the same size at the connection under the swing arm.model years seem to be grouped 00-01 and02-04 is there a difference?I know the engines are different.
I did order one today from our local dealer and they said the would send it back if it didn`t fit.

I`ve seen one with a high pipe,i want the standard RS height to clear my soft bags.

I haven't got a staintune but from what I know they are the same pipe.

I have a Staintune on my '01 ST and it just says fits bike with 02 sensor. I got it on eBay and got a great deal on it so I figured I would give it a shot. Fits and sounds great. I can take pics of any bit you might need to see.

i read some where on this site that pipe diameter where it meets the camp is different ,thats the measurement i would be intrested in.
i do think ther`re all the same, but the staintune site only lists st-1999 to 2001 and Rs 2000 an on wards ,so thats what has me worried,but at least if it don`t fit i aint stuck

I'm betting you'll be fine.

I bought a second hand 2000 ST Staintune ( great price and easier to re-sell later since there are far more STs) and I managed to get it to fit my 03 RS.

I had to find one of those stainless steel bands to go around the can and connect it to the RS mounting point. Then I blocked the ST mount holes with two rubber plugs.... but the header connection was fine.
