Just been speaking to the PO of my bike (Dealer put him onto me... he's got some accessories for me...)

He tole me about the little restrictor in the end of my Carbon TOR ..

I've just done a little "restrictor-ectomy"

Not much louder, but certainly deeper and more authoritive now !

Anyway, just letting others know, if you remove the little allen-head screw in the bottom of the outlet, you can remove a 3" long baffle .... much nicer sound

Later

For those with a 1050 (and live in NSW Aust) that like it loud go and see Dennis Foran in West Gosford. He just did mine, I can recommend his work. The stock single can with 'Doctor Who' end bit is replaced by two stainless steel cans that are custom made from scratch.

Mick, you must live just around the corner from me !
(I'm over in Wyoming)

On this morning's ride, the RS seemed to have a bit more mid-range, certainly in the 4-6k range...

I'm thinking it was tuned WITHOUT the baffle, then plugged for rego at the dealer ....

Not much louder, but certaily deeper.... doesnt sound so much like BMW now

Thanks all
J
