On the 05+ sprint how do people attach a ram mount. Do you guys use the U bolt or the master cylinder mount?

And for anyone that has attached a sw-motech back rack what tools did you use?

I am traveling at the end of the week to pick up a bike and will need to install the rack when I get to it, and it is waiting at the bike.

thanks,

Gary

I don't know that it'll be all that helpful, but here's a link to the Sprint ST 1050 SW-Motech Toprack Installation Instructions

Problem is, you may well have to remove fairing pieces, the seat, and the grab rail, and who knows what else.

To install the back rack you will need a socket to take the four bolts off to remove the rear rack. You will also need a flat blade screwdriver, preferably large blade. I believe you will also need allen wrenches and something to pry out or unscrew the plastic caps in the factory grab bar. I would recommend you take a craftsman, husky, etc socket kit with allen wrenches and a couple of screw drivers (flat blade) and some small pliers or vice grips for the plastic caps. This should do you well. Sorry I cannot give you specific sizes.
