Thanks a bunch for the pics. I was afraid the carbor fiber wouldn't look black. The sample on their web site looked gray almost. I like it.

How's it feel (shape, height, etc) compared to the stocker?

The seat is extremely hard and flat. When just cruising around the streets my rear doesn't go all the way back to the ramp. I feel as if there is much more room to move around on this seat compared to the stock.

I've read another post that the writer felt "oh my god, this is so hard I'll never survive even a short ride let alone a long one" (paraphrased) But they found that after even 300 miles the seat was comfortable.

I won't be able to take the bike for a long one until this weekend. I hope to find the same with mine.

Sorry for asking so many questions... Is the Corbin lower, higher, or about the same as the stock seat? It looks like the main flat seating area might be a little lower than stock. I'm tall and need all the legroom (peg to seat) height I can get.

It seems lower, longer and wider than stock. I'm 5'10", no risers on the bars and I feel I now sit into the bike as opposed to on top of. It doesn't feel cramped to me.

Thanks for the pics! It looks great. I ordered the exact same thing for my bike. I spoke to several guys in my RAT pack who tour tons of miles on their hard Corbins. They love them and so do their pillions. After 850 miles with them on a ride to NY (3 days), I could barely stand the gel seat. It's just too soft for a ton of miles without long breaks. It also made me slide too close to the tank and remain in the same spot too long.

Cannot wait to hear back when you've gone on your long ride. Thanks again!

My seat is due here early next week.

I just took photos of mine with both the stock seat and the Corbin, but I'm waiting for my album to be set up. It's also Carbon-fiber on a British Racing Green ST, so images are similar, but I used a tripod, so they give a good visual reference to the different profiles.

I measured my seat height with stock and Corbin seats. First measurement at approximate seating position on the Corbin was 31.25", but then I measured about 4" back from tank and got 31.5" (Triumph specified seat height) with both seats, so not much difference either way. Natural position is further back in the seat, which slightly increases the reach and lowers you a bit. I'm 6-1 with 34" inseam, and it gives me a little more clearance between the knees and lower fairing and allows me to tuck in behind the windscreen a little better.

(I also just installed a Zero Gravity Double Bubble screen - be back in a while with a report.)

I love my Zero Gravity Double Bubble. Wind blast just at the top of the helmet and outside shoulders.
