If you want USDs and easy installation...

Speed Tripple.

Get the tripple clamps from a speed tripple then use them to sinch in some ohlins USD 43 S&T's...

One could also do a full speed tripple swap from a wadded tripple.. It depends on the cost for me.. If they want alot for new or used tripple usd dampers I'll just get some ohlins...

Re-visiting this while researching a USD conversion for a Sprint RS
('ve already completed a GSXR conversion on my S3 - see signature link)

The handling (not considering the suspension capability, just the geometry) wrt the front end is most determined by the trail.

Greater trail will result in better stability but make the bike harder to steer; conversely of course applies - shorter trail make steering quicker but could make the bike 'twitchy'

So what will change as the forks are replaced?
If indeed the replacements are shorter (as suggested - have not yet measured them for comparison) then the rake angle would become steeper - this would in itself (all else being equal) have the effect of producing less trail and consequently faster steering, but perhaps less stable to the point of being problematic, depending on how much net change (& what the original propensity is to begin with!).
Now with the GSXR forks from a K6, the offset is quiet a bit shorter - only 30mm; that smaller offset has the effect of increasing the trail and the appropriate consequences associated with that.
So by using the K6 triples & forks, you will net effectively a smaller offset but also steeper rake so both components will have some cancelling effects on the overall net change.

Of course the math needs to be done to find what the absolute change is.

In the bike above it appears that the OEM top clamp (bored out) was used so the offset has remained the same - the original poster who seems intimate with it suggested it is 'nervous' which could be because of the reduced rake - this could be offset (no pun intended!) by actually using triple clamps with a smaller offset and may regain something closer to original. It would certainly be 'less nervous' than retaining the OEM offset with shorter forks.
The way to do this is to obviously use the GSXR triples.

In my own experience with the S3 I actually found a positive result from increased trail and the bike is much less twitchy (I no longer need the steering damper), yet steering still reasonably responsive. The rake angle can be further reduced if required by pushing the forks even further through the clamps - I have mine about 10mm above the clamps currently. However in the Sprint case, if the forks are indeed shorter might need all the length that is available.
