I know that Triumph makes a taller windshield and "riser" handlebars for the Sprint ST, but I haven't actually been able to see these items or even photos of them. Does anyone have before / after photos showing this? I'd also like to hear opinions on whether it was worth it or not, or differences noted.

I put Gen Mar risers on just before a long weekend trip. They worked great. All of my wrist issues went away. Don't know about the wind screen. Stock seems fine to me

I haven't seen the Triumph screen but you can find pix of a couple others in the Cee Bailey thread.

I have a pair of GenMar risers I just pulled off. I don't believe Triumph offers risers.
I bought them because my hand was going numb on the throttle grip.

With the risers my hand still went numb and the handling somehow didn't feel as precise.

Next I pulled the risers off and tried "Grip Puppies". These made the grips so fat I couldn't get my hand around them. I didn't like them either.

Now the bars/grips are back to stock and I bought myself a pair of gel padded gloves. Best combo so far (for me).

I have the tall Triumph screen for my 2000 and don't like it. The Laminar lip works very well for me for half the money. .02$

I have just fitted the Triumph Touring screen. I took the bike on a 200 mile ride after fitment and was very pleased with the screen. For info I am 6' 240lb.
The standard screen always pushed the wind into the bottom of my helmet and caused some turbulence around my head. The Tourer pushes the wind up and seems to hit the top of my helmet only.
The only drawback I find is that the screen seems to concentrate the wind effect into a narrower path so that if you put your head out to the side of the screen the buffeting seems a bit more pronounced.
The screen profile is 2" higher than standard.
pm me and I will send some phots of before and after
(I can't figure out how to attach them to this, sorry)

mglemans86, where did you get your GenMar risers? I'm looking for a good source.

CLB, I'm a "bighanded" man and pretty interested in those Grip Puppies. Can you post or email/PM me a link?

I'm 5'8" tall and with the stock windscreen on my '99 Sprint ST the wind hit me just under the lip of my helmet.

I went with a Zero Gravity touring screen. It directs the wind up to the top of my helmet and results in a MUCH nicer ride. Additionally, if I get caught in a windstorm, it is easier to duck in behind the windscreen. It matches the Triumph touring screen and you can get it in smoke (when I bought mine, Triumph did not offer it in the US in smoke). Oh, and it was 1/2 the price of the Triumph.

I kept the stock bars.

The smoke looks pretty stunning on my black ST. Sorry I don't have a photo at my fingertips.

I bought a skidmarx solid black double bubble screen from Jack Lilley online and love it.
Great wind protection and it looks great as well.
