OK, I've read somewhere that a gsxr1000 sprocket is the same bolt pattern as my RS. Are there any other bike sprockets that will fit the Sprint RS? Seems like if it says "Triumph" on it, it costs almost twice as much. What fits? I've already put a 18T on the front and I want to go with a 45 in the rear for more oomph.

That would have been from me. My RS currently sports a 44 tooth GSXR rear sprocket. Complete drop in installation. The sprockets from the GSXR 750 and 600 also fit but you need to change your chain size accordingly. Finding front sprockets you will either need to have a stock one ground to the narrower chain as my dealer does or try and find the correct front sprocket for a 955 Daytona.

So you now have a 520 chain? And the dealer ground the front sprocket in order to fit the smaller chain? You have a gsxr1000 rear sprocket (530 chain) or the 600 750 (520chain)? What years gsxr1000 fit the rs?

GSXR 1000 (630) 2001-2006 (K1 through K6) JT - JTR 1800
GSXR 750Y (525) 2000-2005 (K1 through K5) JT - JTR 1792
GSXR 600 (525) 2001-2005 (K1 through K5) ---SAME---
520 conversion sprocket for all of the above ---- JT - JTR 1793

NOTE. This information ONLY applies to DSSA equipped bikes.

I used the stock 530 chain size. My local dealer was having stock Triumph Daytona counter shaft (engine) sprockets ground to fit the narrower chains because there were no aftermarket ones available. That may have changed now.

As a matter of fact the front sprocket from the Triumph 800 Bonneville (JT - JTF 1183) is a bolt on for a 525 chain size on the 955i, but is only available in a 17 or 18 and I would not use a 17. (to small of a diameter)
