New to the fold

I am now a proud owner of an 06 Sprint ST (faster silver). I've only had it a day, so nothing to report yet except I love it.

I put about 80 miles of combined street/freeway riding, and it just feels great. Of the reported issues, I noticed the heat but didn't care (I should have the "fix" installed shortly).

The biggest thing I noticed (coming from a Honda F3) was the usable power way low in the range. I was in 5th gear and got it to accelerate from 2500 rpm!

I'm preachin' to the choir, but now I understand the fuss.

G'day Racefan, n welcome to the illustrious Triumph fraternity.

I have an 02 ST ( 47,000 klm ) that will pull smoothly from 1500 rpm, in 6th gear on a flat road. - Try that on yours when it is run in..
