Hi, the rear hub/chain tension eccentric on my 03 Sprint ST is seized and will not turn for chain tensioning.
The clamping bolt is free and the hub assy moves inside the swing arm when the clamp bolt is slackened.

I need to strip the hub down to unseize and lube the adjuster housing.

I'm almost certain someone posted some nice pictures of this procedure on this site. I have tried to search without much luck.

Any info is much appreciated.
(A sly wee link to those pics would be cool too.)

Cheers,

Midzy

If you chase down the recall list for Sprints there was a recall on the rear bearings. It has the entire hub removal/maintenance thing layed out in Triumph lingo just like it came from a service manual (which doesn't have anything on the specifics of the rear bearing removal).
