You got lucky! My best frend has an Old Honda V-65 that he bought new when most of the manufacturers had the left overs in their warehouses. Paid I think $2500 for it new. Anyway he lives in PA and naturally it sits in the garage during the winter. Well, after this last winter it didn't want to start. This bike only has about 2500 total miles on it. After checking into it it seems said field mouse set up house in his air box. Had to chew through the mesh screen to even get there. The bad news, mice Sh!t and piss where they live! It ran down into the carbs and rendered them useless! Corroded them so badly that the throttles were stuck to the point of non-repairable status! (Dealer said this is pretty common out there) New carbs for this $2500 bike from Honda....almost $1200! I think he scored a set on E-Bay but I don't think he's put many miles on it yet. I told him it's time for a Sprint and a Frigging CAT! (He's allergic to pet hair of all kinds!!)
