Is there any member around Northwest Illinois? I work in Schaumburg, live out near Crystal lake. Just got an '02 Sprint ST(Red, the fast one ). Anyone close by feel like giving me any tips, tricks, things to know about this awesome bike? Someone to say, watch this, replace this, things that people have done. Would be cool to meet someone close by.
Thanks!!! Dave

hey Dave,

looks like no one close by but no worries - thats the beauty of this site.

Some of us live in reasonably isolated places but this site keeps us in touch with whats going on out there.

Good to have you on board - stay tuned theres plenty of good stuff here. :-D

Hi podman,
welcome aboard mate. As ice says this is a great site with lots of helpful people lurking here abouts.

There is also a pretty good search engine on this thing Dave so if there is something specific have a bit of a look around most things get covered pretty well.

Not that we mind anyone asking again.

Cheers,
Davem

G'day Podman.

I also have an 02 Red ST - IMHO they are just about the best looking bike going around - and the also go pretty hard for a long time, what more could you want - well maybe good front brakes, but thats another thread..

My only tip/advice - make sure that your bike has had all the recall work done - particularly if it is in the Vin range that needed the rear axle bearing changed out.

Good luck / have fun - you will be the envy of all those guys riding blue or sliver Sprints

ps: Being in Australia - mines a right hand drive model
