I kinda goes like this. I ride the 04 Sprint ST, bought it new. Over the years I have noticed the after market products are skipping the 04 and going right to the 05 on up. The final straw was today when I contacted Corbin products to see if I could get a new seat for the 05 and I was informed by them that they do not make seats or any other products for the 04 sprint. YET they do make products for the 99 through 02, 03 and 05 on up. What is this anyway. Is it time for all 04 owners to step up and be seen? I THINK SO!
Let Corbin know there is a market for the 04's by email. Here is one address you can contact: michael.alva@mike-corbin.com

The seats for the '99 - '04 Sprints are all the same. I've got a Corbin on my '04 ST. If someone at Corbin told you they won't fit, they were mistaken.

I'd stand up too, but I'd rather sit on my Corbin... :-D

I would say you're a little off track here.

There are some differences from year to year throughout the '99 - '04 series, but essentially its the same bike. So when it comes to fitting accessories you should only need to specify the series not the specific model year.

e.g. seats, screens, sliders, bar risers, luggage, etc, etc.

Brett.

AFAIK The running gear for 99-04 is the same. Just the engine (inc air box, exhaust) changed in 02.

We really need better names for the variants; getting sick of typing year ranges! Eg. pre-99 Sprints are Mark 1, 99-01 Mark 2, 02-04 Mark 3 etc.

Ok, I get the picture, now I know how to order the seat. Thanks to all for your input.

Now that's certainly starting to sound just a bit too British to me.. Don't put the jinx on it Ern.

Screw Corbin...get a Sargent. Much nicer seat, IMO.

'Course, they don't have one for the '05 series. Time for us to STAND UP!! :hammer:

I'm happy with my T gel seat thanks very much.

I don't see how you could jump around much or get into any body english on those deeply scalloped seats.
