It's the same for 2002's, as per the Service Manual and user's guide. Remember Triumph recommends full or semi-synthetic. There is plenty of data to support extended service intervals with synthetics. A guy on the Concours list, those guys really flog their scoots, who did serious oil analysis studies who claimed 10K+ with nothing in the oil to show any damage. Personally, I'll stick with 6K. Do what makes ya happy.
