How can I visually tell the difference between the Stock Exhaust and the TOR?

Due to an unfortunate issue with my Dealer, I'm having a bit of a trust issue. I'm probably being paranoid, but I'd just like to verify that I do indeed have the TOR installed, and not just a new richer map applied.

Thanks in advance!

There will b e a warning stamped on the TOR that it is "Not for Road Use" because it does not meet Federal reg's. The stock stamp will state that it does meet the Federal Reg's.

Where would this stamp be located?

any other differentiating features between the two?

It's stamped right on the side of the can in fairly large letters. Hard to miss.

Actually, it appears to be underneath the exhaust. Includes a bunch of EPA guidlines and in bold, "Not for road use".

I feel a bit better, thanks!

Just ordered the sports exhaust today for my 06 sprint. Would be interested to know your thoughts on yours.
Cheers Gavin

considering the price, it was a good deal. If anything, more of a stealth option, in both looks and sound (unless you wind it up). Not much louder than stock (or at least you probably wouldn't notice the difference unless you heard them side-by-side), albeit the richer tune does cause a bit of popping on deceleration or over-rev.

As for performance, it does appear to offer a bit more pep than the stock unit, though I'm not really a good judge of this, as I had mine installed immediately after break-in, so I wasn't riding the same way before the TOR.

All in all, I think it's quite a reasonable upgrade for the price. Good bang (pun intended) for the buck.
