Very good CLB. Just the laugh I needed this morning!

RCR - in the words of one of my instructors from a different life - "What did you f****n do to that?!?!?!"

I reckon that would have to be a first for the ST (?).

Brett.

nice bike!

Havent seen this before - what happened? did it just break off or did you hit it on something?

Have you seen the separate post on top speed in each gear? you could easily break the speed limit in 2nd :-D

This happend as i was gearing down to enter a corner.....I figure it was over tightened when it was installed and weakened.....I'm just glad i wasen't 250 miles from home like i wanted to be. I Will be revamping the tool kit after Seeing how such a small part can wreck a good ride.. I sure could have used a pair of vice grips and some duck tape(Mexican solder) Taped the vice gripes to my boot and went for a ride hoping to not have to put my left foot down...Ok maybe not! :-D :-D :-D

RCR001,

same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, fortunately on flat country roads only 50 km from the next dealer. Part was in stock and changed in less than 2 minutes.
