Would like to meet up with you Hooligans (Oops! thought I was at the ZRX site!) :-) Great bunch of guys there at the ZRXOA! I have a blast riding with all those Hooligans, we do a lot of group rides and get togethers/rallys.

We do monthly rides, I usually host one month in what I call Southern So Cal and a REXER named MikeP51 hosts the next month the other side of L.A., lots of fun riding with the boys!

Anyway if you'd be interested in having a monthly group ride or just meet up for breakfast and bench race post here.......

Thanks!
Jerry

Hi, I live in Poway. There is a RAT Pack here (San Diego) I guess... email rocketmotorcyclesATsbcglobal.net to get on the Rocket MC RAT Pack mailing list. They schedule rides every few months, I have yet to go on one though. I missed the last one to mexico, I was very bummed about it.

Sounds like fun, but Temecula is kind of a schlep for me (I live out in West LA, so it's about a 100 mile ride each way just to get there). Not saying I wouldn't mind coming out once in awhile, but I'm not sure it's something I'd want to do on a regular basis. What are the details?

No details yet Haddi......wanted to get a "feel" as to how many would be interested....we could just designate say Saturday like the 2nd Saturday of the month for instance and pick a somewhat central meeting place.

Same boat as Haddi, Temecula is a bit of a treck before actually starting the ride for me too. I like his choice in bikes though! Still got the 900F?

Well, sorta. The 900F was my daily driver before a cager left turned into me. I was thinking about fixing it, but then the Sprint came on the market and I couldn't resist. I couldn't bear to get rid of the CBF though, so I gave it to my uncle to fix (it wasn't too bad, just needed new forks and handlebars and maybe some new front brakes) and to learn to ride on. So, really, it's his bike now, but I can go down and ride it pretty much any time I want to (he only lives 40 minutes away from me). I love that bike though--the CBFs were really some of the best bikes ever made.

Do you hang out at CB1100f.net ever? Bunch of cool guys, and a lot of them are local.

Haddi-----Stla...you guys arn't that far if you live in L.A.
It's only about 45 minutes to say Ortega Highway and the "Lookout".......I go the "Rockstore" in the Santa Monica mountains about 4 times a year (which is 125 miles from my house) AND THEN go on a 150 mile or so ride with the ZRXOA members....I usually do 400 to 500 miles for the whole day when I do that.
It's not bad when you take gas breaks and lunch ect........
I'm no spring chicken either (45) I just like to ride.
Anyway if you want to meet up let me know or maybe I'll post for a ride soon....

I'm also in West LA, but my bike is out of commision. Someone decided to customize it for me by running it over while parked on the street. I have a witness, but the whole thing is turning into a mess. I probably won't be on a ST any time soon.

I also am very pissed about missing the Mexico ride. My bike got taken out the week of the ride. It looks like a very well organized run.

It's also pissing me off because now i'm gonna miss the ride to Laguna Seca.

I was taking my bike out to SoCal Triumph in Brea. They are a good group out there. There's a bike night on Thursdays that i've been meaning to go to. The details are on the web site. If you pick a night, i could meet you there, but i'll be on VX800.
