Hi All

I am looking for a rear mud guard for my 04 ST. I am going to use it for a template for a tidel tail so as long as the under the seat part is in good condistion I will take it. as I am going to cut and reshape the part the stick out of the back of the bike to what I require.

I have checked ebay and there are none on there

I will pay for the postage to get it here

Hi Det,
a mate just upgraded his 04 R1 to an 06 R1 and bought a Resart tail for it at (AU$230). Looked quite good on the R1, don't know if they do them for Sprints.

Here's a couple of links. (He may not leave them up as they're listed as temp links).

If you like I can ask him where he got it. I know his bike shop is Lithgow Bike Stop (at Lithgow, funnily enough - the owner is Dave).

Russ

That would be good if you can find out the address and phone number. What we have worked out so far is that we have to cut the mud guard off just below the rear tail light and make up a new bracket to hold the number plate and blinkers (pretty much the same same your mates bike) but the mud guard runs all the way under the seat. So i am not that keen to cut into my guard just yet until I get a old one to have a trial on first. If I like that I will leave it on and keep the one on the bike as a spare if I change it all back to a standard bike again.

Det, here's the details I have:
"http://resart.com.au/ is their website, but they only seem to list Kawayamasuzonda sportsbikes. The number on the website that I phoned was 0422 700 701, and I think it's a pretty small operation despite their snazzy site, so maybe they could do a special."

Doesn't look promising, but good luck.

Russ

Hi Det,
I have the Trumpy rear hugger, it's fine for me but it isn't very big. Depends what you want I got mine super cheap otherwise I most likely would have gone for a carbon fibre one.

Pics in my album if you are interested.

Sorry can't help on the tail tidy but russ seems to have that covered excuse the pun

Since Dave mentioned it, I'll add that my second OEM hugger has just cracked at the same point as the first - offside mounting bolt.

Heap of sh*te.
