Hey Steve,

I just read the thread about your Mayer seat. It sounds good.

Have you managed to get any decent rides in as yet?

With those wings, can you move about at all if you want to hook into some corners?

Any info you can add is greatly appreciated.

Brett.

The first place I went with the seat was to Deal's Gap. That is about 300 miles from here. I rode out in the morning, got to my campsite and set up, and then rode the Gap a few times that evening. The next day was a reverse of the first, but I put some more miles on in the local area. I wound up putting 772 miles on from doorstep to doorstep in about 36 hours. That's not Iron Butt territory I know, but that kind of mileage would have me in tears with the old seat. I had no problems with pain or irritation with the new seat. Absolutely comfy all the way.

As far as doing twisties, I figure the Gap tested that out and no, not a single issue with the seat "being in the way." I'm 100% satisfied with the purchase. I wish I'd be able to get it faster, but that's it.

What a great looking seat! I am in the market for one cause with the stock seat, anything over two hours is a p.i.t.a.......... Has anyone tried this one from Corbin?
