Miles or k's? Either way, makes you wonder why resale suffers so much if you have over 50,000 miles on a Triumph!

I reckon that odo is in miles. Goes to show how well they hold up with lots of miles on them. That bike looks ready to go another 100,000.
BMW's have always had a reputation for this but I say :kck: to that, these bikes will go a long way and not require much more than the scheduled maintenence.
Brett.

In defense of the beemers, though my experience is with the pre-84 airhead twins, is that's all i ever did w/them, for over 250,000 miles on 4 beemers (accidents DO shorten longevity). All those bikes were purchased used, lowest mileage at buy time was 35,000 miles.

It's a nice start
Nahh, just kidding. Nice to see a 100k+ miler. I can only think of 1 or 2 more that have admitted to that on the internet. I'm hoping to see that on my '02 in a couple years.

If it is miles, it's a good haul. My 99 S3 has 90,000KMs, and I've met a guy with a 2000 Tiger with 230,000KMs. No one wants to buy 'em, but who's selling anyway?

Them be my numbers, I sold that bike for $2,000 us, when I sold it it had over 123,000 Miles on it. Great bike, never gave me a problem, no major work, just general maint, recalls, oh and quite a few tires. :-D
