Can anyone tell me if the Mobil 1 oil that I can get in the local auto parts store is ok to use in my Sprint ? I know triumph recomends the Mobil 1 racing oil but is this the same as the mobil 1 on the shelf or should I seek out the motul, I don't have a Triumph dealer locally so will have to buy from a different dealer.

Perfectly ok! Save yourself some bucks. I've used it for years and it's been just fine.

It all depends on what you mean by Ok or for that matter Mobil 1. There are a bunch of Mobil 1's. If you mean the 15w50 in with a gold color cap. It's OK. If you find some older stuff in a red cap, that's OK too. If it starts with a 0w or a 5w, in any color, it ain't OK. I'm not even going to touch the motorcycle specific stuf, that's OK too but more expensive.
