So I bought a pannier set for my bike off of ebay (I know, I know) and when finally sitting down to look at instructions I discovered I'm missing a couple of pieces. The two that I seem to be missing are the left hand side Pannier rail bracket. By looking at it I'm going to guess that's where the key lock for the seat gets attached too. The other piece is the top mounting bracket that the rear luggage rack attaches to under the seat, and gets the actual lock assembly attached to to hold the seat down. I guess my question is, are these parts necessary (such as is the luggage rack not just a direct bolt on replacement for the current grab bar?) or if anybody knows where I can get them even if it is from my friendly over priced dealer.
