Hi,

While I had the bike in for the 20kkm service, I had them to mount the Scottoiler turing thing. But one thing which anoyes me slightly is that the number plate light no longer illuminates the number plate, as the scottoiler is so thick that the number plate light does not reach beyond it. So the questions is;

a) is there a way to fix that issue - ie. is there a way to get an 'extender' for the number plate light?
b) is is leagal not to have the number plate illuminated?

I'm especially interested in b) as I'm planing to take a small trip to france this weekend, and the last thing is a very angry police office yelling at me....

dont know about france but in the uk it could get you a £30 fine and also if it was mot time it would fail. I have the same set up on my st and until 3 year old its not going to be an issue hopefully.
The alternative is to manufacturer a spacer to step the light out past the scotty. i was going to do this when i was keen and interested about my bike............ im not anymore so ive left it. :hammer:

Thanks, I've decided to remove the HCR and then just use the normal canister.
