Hi all, just finished installing a Rad Guard to my Sprint ($325 Aust). A point to note is that the rad Guard fits the 04, 05 & 06 Sprints. If you are fitting one to a 05/06 you will need to make a small bracket to secure it at the bottom, you also need to remove one half of the lower fairing. Other than that it fitted well with a small amount of the usual swearing and throwing of tools around the shed. Cheers and safe riding to all

Hi tankman,
welcome to the Rad guard club

I won't tell you what I paid for mine :-D

But I did fit it myself and it was pretty easy. Mine has already copped a big stone and saved my radiator once.

Onya tankman! :upthumb:

Dave, oops just checked my paperwork, the rad Guard cost me $204, sorry for the confusion. Did you have to remove the horn when you fitted it? Also I am thinking about fitting a K&N air filter next service, what do you think, good idea or not?

Cheers & Cya The Tankman

Tankman,
I didn't have to remove my horn or the bottom half of my fairing. I made it fit with a bit of fiddling and a few beads of sweat. It took me about half an hour and I didn'y have to make any brackets all the stuff that was needed was in the pack.

Oh and tanky mine was part of that deal where I got my gel seat, hugger, bar risers that you now have, the rad guard, oil filter, datatool alarm (never was fitted) and touch up paint all only six months old and wait..............$450.00! :-D :yayyy:
