The Weather channel forcast for a week of sunshine!

Went to the weekly gathering at PJ's and then for a ride with my sons. We ended up with 3 other bikes on McCaren Blvd. a 4 lane blvd with triple digit speed straights and some good corners. I have driven this road fast with my car at these particular corners, so I know this road. The other bikes were sport bikes of the Japanese variety, I think a Ninja, YZF, and a Busa w/passenger. Of course all go fast in the straight before the corners, I easily hold pace. The corner was time for me to see what this bike does, and there was no traffic. I was very happy, it does what I tell it, and the rest fall behind. I felt completely confident and could hold the line. I am sure glad I chose this bike over an FJR! :hammer:

wills,
glad you are enjoying it so much. I am certainly in lve with my '04, the Sprint is an impressive machine. Such a good alrounder capable of serious fun in the twisties.

Unbelievable! I had the exact same question sitting in the back of my mind ever since I bought this bike, was the Sprint a better purchase than the FJR? I had a nice long ride with my wife last weekend and I got my answer over and over again... YES YOU DUMMY! The FJR is too much of a touring bike and not enough sport for my tastes. That's why I love the Sprint, it's sporty with touring capablilities. Glad you had a good ride Wills and thank you for reaffirming my initial impressions.
