Has anyone purchased one yet? What kind of change did it make? I am thinking of making the purchase and would love to have some other input.

From what I've read around here the Tune Boy seems to be better. I just went here and they have a unit for the 1050 coming out real soon.
The way I understand it the Power Commander goes in series with the existing system and alters what the factory unit sends. With the tune-boy you actually re-program the factory unit. Not sure if that is how it will work with the new computer in the 1050.

The Power comander alters the comands that the computer on the bike puts out and is a "foriegn" box in the system. the tune boy allows you to alter the computers instructions by reprogramming, In my opion a better way to go.

Not to mention breaking into the system. Any time you do that you run the risk of altering the resistance of the system either soon or down the road. These are pretty low voltage systems and everything depends on getting a good clean signal.

I'd rather let the bikes brain do the work rather than another box countermanding it's signal.

When Wayne gets the 1050 back-wards engineered it will be worth the wait.
IMHO

Leave the P/C's to the Japanese bikes.
