The Triumph rear hugger goes for US$125.

I found a carbon fiber unit from Carbon Works in OK for US$81
Does anyone have feedback on these folks or comments about rear huggers in general?

Are there other choices out there?

NWS also makes a huggar for the ST. I have the Trumpet one and wish I would have gotten the NWS one as it provides greater coverage in the rear of the bike. I saw one on '00 sprint about 2 weeks ago.

I had a Carbon Works (I think they are distributed by Lockhart-Philips) on my 2003 ST, had to take it off when I put on the under-seat exhaust. They are VERY thin. I made a bracket to reinforce mine and replaced the supplied steel bolts with stainless. There is a picture on my mods page in my photo album (click below).

Does NWS have a website and can you order from it?

Try this clicky: NWS

However, you will find that it is a UK site. But they do mention international ordering.

Jason,
Tech at the dealer basically said "I dunno, seen it before, just happens". I think the valve guide is leaking. I started adding injector cleaner and I'll take it apart and check it again in a few weeks.
I think the #1 spark plug drain hole must be occluded. I haven't taken the time to look for that drain, maybe this weekend. I guess I need to look for it from the outside, cause I sure didn't see any holes on the inside.

Yes that hugger was very flimsy.

I have the Triumph hugger on mine. Pics in my albumn.

No problems and looks good in my opinion. I am happy with it.

I got mine second hand, 6 months old with lots of other bits totalling $1800.00 from a mate for $450.00 (Risers I sold to Tankman, datatool alarm, T hugger, T Gel seat, powder coated black rad protector and an oil filter and touch up paint) Good deal huh :-D

Yeah, a range of other huggers out there. Do a google.

OEM is sh*te. 'Thong' coverage, and cracks. On my second under warranty.
