For owners of Sprints 2005 and 2006.
Just got word from Paul Schmalz from http://www.staintune.com.au/index.html
Aftermarket pipes will be available to order worldwide in approx 5 weeks (Mid to late March). Staintune are well known in OZ for high quality pipes. For example, Staintune have some already for the new Speed Triple and claims a 9 Peak Horsepower over the standard exhaust system with NO remapping. (using their own in house Dyno)
Copy of Pauls email below:
Yes keep an eye on our web site, but to answer a few questions, first of all no re-mapping is required as you thought, (this is a point of conjecture, some bikes get remapped, some don't. I will probably take mine over the Dyno anyway as many of my mates who have Staintune swear it is worth it..Gavs)...our initial muffler will only have a single outlet, we are looking at putting three outlets (purely cosmetic..Gavs) on latter runs if possible and price should be (AUD) $650.00 retail. We have done the R & D, hopefully if all goes well we will have the finished product out in about 4-5 weeks, we are just going through the testing stage at present.

So you don't have to go look it up like I did:

$650 AUS = $480 USD.

That would make them cheaper than the TORs.

No, no pictures as yet, but Im sure they will upload them on the Staintune website when completed, they are in R & D. I am not sure what a single Can will look like, I do like the Triple look. Apparently it sounds very horn though.

The great DaveM guru is right, supposed to sound pretty hot. I volunteered my bike to get it fitted (then you get it Free! I love that word, Scottish blood.) but some***** already gave his bike to them.
