aghhh

went out for a chrissy ride this morning. doing a u-turn around 2mph. front wheel hit a storm drain cover in the road and i dropped my ST. got some little spot rash on the bottom right faring from the impact. to touch up or get a new bottom right faring or resprayed? damn!

That sucks... my sprint fell over in my driveway a couple of months ago and the damage bil was $4000. Do you have insurance?

The bike was still rideable, but since it was all original they replaced everthing damaged - no repairs. RHS lower fairing, rh mirror, rh rear indicator rh bar end, engine cover rh pannier rail, duck tail, rh foot peg and brake pedal.

Try the touch up first, and see how you like it. I've used a red sharpie for scuffs on Tornado Red. It did ok. I could see it, but no one else noticed. Don't know how blue or sunsset would work. They have touch up paint. I guess try least expensive, and work your way up.

You could always just make up a story about some dare-devil, oncoming-semi maneuver that almost worked.
