2004 Sprint won't start

Hello,
New member here. My 2004 Triumph RS 955 won't start, I noticed one of the wires on my fuel gauge sending unit was broken. Is it possible this is causing the ECU to not turn the fuel pump on, preventing the bike not to start? Thanks for your help

No a broken wire only gives a fault signal it does not stop the pump from running. You have another problem with the starting.

Fuse or relay is most likely, or if your fuel sender wire is broken (the one on the bottom of the square part of the tank) what about the condition of the wires on the pump feed on the side?

What does it do? Do the lights come on when you turn the key? Does the motor turn over? The more detail you can give us, the more likely we are to be able to help.

Got it going again, it was a faulty safety switch. Thanks everyone and this forum.
