I think it's fair to say this mod is a worthy one. My 2 experiences have both given good results.

Caveat is to take care when dismantling the shaft & butterflies, particularly de-staking the screws. And go slowly with the dremel.

I'll second that. Extremely worthwhile and rewarding endeavor spending very little money with just you, the Dremel, and your Trumpy. Only downside is that if you aren't Tuneboy or TuneECU literate, the improvements are so significant that your bike will run like dodo if it's not remapped.
