955 Sprint ST to "adventure" conversion

I have a 2000 Sprint ST sat in my garage since buying a Speed Triple 5 years ago. The Sprint was defaired with a small bikini fairing fitted.

I have a plan to turn it into a more practical tourer .. so far my thinking is a handlebar conversion, maybe the LSL one and also to fit some lowered pegs to give it a more upright riding position.

For the front end I'm wondering on the practicalities of fitting a Tiger fairing with a taller screen ..

I know this is going to look mongrel but has anybody done similar ? any of the above ? Thoughts ?

It sure would look different with a 21" front wheel!!!

sell the sprint and buy what you actually want, rather than stuffing about with it and ending up with something that's a compromise.

They're quite practical as they are.

You could fit higher bars and go for one of the touring screen options.

...or if you're really after the upright riding position - buy a Tiger?
