HELP! Sprint ST windshield decal?

I put a zero gravity sport touring shield on my 2008 ST. I love it, but you can see the bolts and fairing along the edges where the stock screen is blacked out. Does anybody make a black decal to cover this area? Has anyone painted it? I put the factory shield next to it so you can see the blacked out area I'm talking about. Kinda bumming me out.

I don't see why a good paint wouldn't do what you want. I've had good luck with the Krylon Fusion plastics paint. http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_for_plastic/
I painted the license plate housing on my car black, about 8 years ago and it still looks great!

+1 on krylon fusion paint i used it on my bandit 1200 and was still good when i sold it , make sure you paint the inside

Yup. Get the krylon paint. After getting brake cleaner on my hugger, which resulted in a nice white discoloration spot, I rattle-canned it with some krylon plastic paint and it looks better than new.

I would put some black vinyl decal sheet on the fairing. Done correctly, it'll conform to corners and odd shapes. Just do the Google and search under "vinyl decal sheets"...

Tape the underside of the new screen. Fast and reversible.

Thanks for your help folks. I was hoping to find a precut decal. I'll give the post a few more days. Cutting and laying out my own vinyl might be tough, especially cutting the radius at the bottom. I'll probably go the krylon route. I'll post a pic when I'm done.

Take it to a signwriter. They can cut you a vinyl piece to fit and, potentially you can get a nice graphic in there too, eg Brit flag, Triumph logo, etc.

That's a good idea. Now you got me thinking! Since I painted the bike white (I'm using it as a police motorcycle on movie sets), I'm thinking to do the windshield trim in white for a different look. Thoughts?
