Centre stand

Hi Fellars,
Anyone know if a centre stand from a 1050 Sprint would fit a Sprint 955i Rs 2004 with a single sided swing arm. I live in France and this is the spec for a French 955i RS. Thanx

Hi, one sprint/RS centre stand fits all. However, not sure about the later model retro fit idea, have to wait for a real expert like Kit?

To the best of my knowledge the 955 and 1050 stands do not interchange, but I don't know for sure. I've never actually tried to put a 1050 stand on a 955; I just know the stands do not share the same part number and are of different design. 955 ST stands do fit the RS, both SSSA and DSSA.

Hi...from my experience...ST 955i, does not feat RS's center stand.
I bought one of the ST and when I tried to put it on the RS, they had different shapes and small differences.
They are not equal and some mechanical adjustment will be needed.

The center stands for almost all 955 Sprints share a single part number and interchange. AFAIK, the only exceptions are serials 87437 to 87445 and 87358. (I'd be curious to know why those 10 bikes got a different part!)

It seams that a fire occurred in Hinckley factory and from that date on, slight changes occurred on the bikes...
