I spent a lot of time in the woods around there in the U.S. Army in the late 1980s. We were based out of Ansbach, but a lot of our training was in your neck of the woods. Beautiful part of the world!
Installed tool tube, have all the main wrenches, shorty's mostly, a cruz tools multi tool, allen wrenches, Harley Davidson 8 in 1 screwdriver, mini compressor and plug kit. In my soft tail bag I carry a bottle of water and a quart of gas in a MSA bottle. Cell phone, PT 145 45 calibre pistol with extra mag in OWB holster or the Colt 1911, or both if I expect trouble hehehe..
Where on the GT did you mount a tool tube? I have had a tool tube on my previous bikes but haven't found a good location on the GT. Pictures? Thanks.
I normally tow a trailer with about 300kg of Stahlwille tools in case of an emergency, you know it is also a good idea to carry a few truck batteries or a petrol generatorand a small lathe that can run off them also a decent sized compressor and a full set of air tools, worlk lights can be handy to if you break down at night time..
