Mick,

I spent a lot of time in the woods around there in the U.S. Army in the late 1980s. We were based out of Ansbach, but a lot of our training was in your neck of the woods. Beautiful part of the world!

Where on the GT did you mount a tool tube? I have had a tool tube on my previous bikes but haven't found a good location on the GT. Pictures? Thanks.

I normally tow a trailer with about 300kg of Stahlwille tools in case of an emergency, you know it is also a good idea to carry a few truck batteries or a petrol generatorand a small lathe that can run off them also a decent sized compressor and a full set of air tools, worlk lights can be handy to if you break down at night time..

Damn the extra weight I have to be prepared.

Well I just couldn't help myself!

Sorry Kit In reality I carry very little.

On my Daytona just a std tool roll and credit card and license and RACQ card (Auto club).

On my GT I carry a roll of duct tape a Leatherman tool,a 1 litre bottle of water some zip ties and a small towel all in my Ventura 10 litre tail pack

I also have this in the backyard should Things go very pearshaped (my track day transport).

cheers
Dave
