Installed tool tube, have all the main wrenches, shorty's mostly, a cruz tools multi tool, allen wrenches, Harley Davidson 8 in 1 screwdriver, mini compressor and plug kit. In my soft tail bag I carry a bottle of water and a quart of gas in a MSA bottle. Cell phone, PT 145 45 calibre pistol with extra mag in OWB holster or the Colt 1911, or both if I expect trouble hehehe..

This all fits under the seat of my 955 Sprint.
Puncture repair outfit with CO2 cartridges.
Tyre pressure guage
Triumph Tool kit topped up by a few well chosen sockets, 3/8 sliding Tbar and 2 adjustable wrenches
A Multi driver with allen, torx, phillips and flat point bits in the handle
Some boxcutter blades
I metre of 14 gauge electrical cable
Some zip ties
A small packet of different metric nuts bolts and screws
Triumph owners/service manual in its plastic sleeve with 2 $50 bills hidden in the pages
Finally, a dozen baby wipes in a sealable sandwich bag. Great for cleaning hands after reapairs, cleaning bugs off visors and really useful if you have to sh*t in the bushes!
My Sprint is almost 10 years old and has high Km`s and I do a lot of long trips on it. Things going wrong and bits falling off are inevitable. I go a long way and often end up in woop woop (a long way from civilisation) with no phone signal so a decent collection of tools is essential.

.....................and a partridge in a pear tree
Rob you missed the torque wrench and extenda bar, Kit's bathroom sink and a solid fuel stove and mess kit to make a brew while you are broken down in the woop woops

I did actually carry a torque wrench on my cross country trips.

Turning rapidly into the "Mcguyver? meets Bear Grylls" thread.
Still think on that line once you have got the .45, card and phone you could just about get by.

Mick, where are you in Bavaria? 3' of snow! We occasionally get that here at the southern tip of Lake Michigan.
