Triumph U lock strap question

Has anyone else got this lock: http://www.jacklilley.com/buy/Triump...k/A9810003#eq2?

I just received it as part of the dealer package with my GT.

It's designed to fit under the seat and p41 of the bike's manual refers to a "Hook and loop strap" which should be used to hold the lock body in place.

Problem - there is no "Hook and loop strap" either with the bike or with the lock and I can't see one listed as an accessory or part on any Triumph dealers' websites.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks.

hook and loop means 'Velcro"

I couldn't find any details on the link you provided, but Here in the States "hook and loop" means Velcro, Maybe they are suggesting that you use some to keep it still and avoid it rattling around under your seat.

This page:
http://www.foothillsmotorcycles.com/...U+Lock+Kit.htm

shows a picture of it stowed in its custom shaped storage area below the seat, looks pretty secure already..

I wish I could help, but I took a dremel to the mounting points under the seat so I could pack it with more stuff more easily. I can attest that mine did not come with any velcro, either, though.

Thanks. I've discovered that a velcro strap should have come with the lock and the dealer is now sourcing one for me.
