Passing light switch to open the garage door?

I like the idea of the Flash2Pass because I don't have much room to Velcro on my clicker, and because I never seem to hit the right button through my jacket, and I always have to stop in the street and punch my pocket a few times until I get the right button pushed. Not a problem, just an inconvenience.

I did find a number of websites that describe how to make this mod using parts from Radio Shack. I might try a DIY for this.

I just program all of the buttons on all of my remotes to open the door (I only have one), takes the guesswork out.

As for the DIY, it is rather simple, all you need to do is open up the remote and solder some wires to make another button control it. It can be an exsisting button or a new one. A lot of "custom" car guys will actually hide the remote in the dash and wire it so that pushing the cigarette lighter will open the door. Pretty slick, really.
