I hadn't thought of that. I'll email Dutch tonight and see if I can get something in writing about it not getting damaged. I definitely don't want to have to buy one, they ain't cheap.

Well, the good news is that my rear hugger is plastic with a CF look to it.. The bad news is that the insert on the right swing arm for one of the screws that holds it in place has come loose from the swing arm. Not loose enough for me to pull it out mind you, just loose enough to not allow me to unscrew it in a normal manner... I'll take a look at it in the morning and see if I can get some super glue in there to hold it long enough to get the screw out. I am seriously down to one screw and I have yet to get it out.

He was called out by the moderators for violating forum advertising policies. I tried to calm everyone down and sort things out, but he decided that fighting the mods was more important than being a member of the forum. He said some very rude things to the people who run this place and now he's not allowed to post here.

Cheers,
-Kit

I knew he was not Airtech, but he dug himself a hole before I could explain it to the people who thought he was. Kind of like someone getting pulled over for a broken turn signal and talking his way into a night in jail.

Anyway, can we please get back to discussing the RS fairings?

Cheers,
-Kit

Tail fairings are the same, along with the seat cowl and the rear half of the front fender. Everything else is different, including the mounts. (And if you want to change the mounts, you have to change the clocks.)

Cheers,
-Kit
