Besides an alarm, what else can I use to discourage thieves when my bike is parked. I have the disc lock off my 1400 Intruder. Not sure if it'll fit the Sprint as it hasn't arrived yet

If possible it is best to attach the bike to something like a post with a good quality chain. Lots of them about so I would do some research as some are better than others. Can be a bit of a pain to carry around and have to find somewhere to attach the bike to, but probably the best deterrent. Here in the UK thieves will lift the bike, alarm blaring, into a van in seconds.

The best security I can recommend is to always park between a Harley and an R1. Maybe next to a Honda Accord. :-D

Thieves will (almost) always take a bike they can sell for parts. So far, Our beloved Triumphs aren't a really hot item in that sense.
